Hi, I'm Clare! I'm a qualified integrative counsellor.

Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting, and you may be unsure of what to expect. Whatever has brought you here, you do not have to face it alone.

I offer a warm, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. As an integrative counsellor, I work collaboratively with each client, tailoring therapy to their individual needs and supporting them in exploring challenges, developing self-awareness, and finding a way forward.

People come to counselling for many reasons, including anxiety, stress, low mood, relationship difficulties, grief, life transitions, or simply wanting a space to better understand themselves.

I believe that every person deserves to feel heard, valued, and supported. My aim is to provide a safe therapeutic relationship where you can explore what matters most to you at your own pace.

How We Will Work Together

I offer 50-minute counselling sessions via Google meet, telephone, or through Walking Therapy.
For Google meet sessions, a secure meeting link will be sent to you the day before your appointment.
For telephone sessions, I will call you using the same telephone number that I use to contact you regarding appointments and enquiries.
Walking Therapy sessions take place in a mutually agreed outdoor location, providing a calm and supportive environment where we can walk side by side while exploring whatever is on your mind. We will walk at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and you are always welcome to pause or sit if needed. Before beginning Walking Therapy, we will discuss suitable locations, confidentiality, safety, and what to do in the event of poor weather to ensure you feel informed and comfortable with this way of working.
To help maintain confidentiality and minimise interruptions, I ask that you attend online or telephone sessions from a private space where you feel comfortable speaking openly and where you are unlikely to be overheard. For Walking Therapy, while every effort will be made to choose quieter routes, complete confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in public spaces. If we encounter other people during our walk, I will follow your lead, and we can simply pause our conversation or continue walking until we are in a more private area.
