My approach to helping you

It’s my intention to offer you a comprehensive and personalised approach to your issues. I very much believe in respecting you as an individual, so I need to:

*        Understand the history of your issue/s,

*        Begin identifying your aims or goals, and the difference you want to experience,

*        Before designing an individualised approach to suit you.

To achieve this I combine elements from several approaches:

NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming)

This is an approach developed in the 1970's by Richard Bandler and John Grinder. It is a set of tools and techniques that use the power of words and imagination to help you change.

It incorporates a large number of techniques that can significantly improve your life and those of people around you in a very short period of time. It works by allowing us to understand human processes around everyday activities that currently might not give the desired effect, to then change them to give you the right solution.

I’ve now extended my knowledge of NLP by integrating New Code NLP, which has effectively taken the classic approach to NLP and enhanced it, by making it faster, cleaner, content free and more interactive. Change work can be fun, and New Code can do that. There are very few New Code NLP Practitioners in the UK.

Cognitive Hypnotherapy

Cognitive hypnotherapy differs from many other forms of hypnotherapy available because it aims to offer you a very modern approach to therapy using the very latest ideas and techniques. It draws on techniques from Cognitive Therapy, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, the latest understandings from Neuroscience and Evolutionary Psychology and combines them with the approach of the best Hypnotherapists in recent times like Milton Erickson, Gill Boyne and Rubin Battino. 

My job is to act as a guide to help you find your own solutions and resources to issues, so that you can take control of your own life once again. The use of light relaxation techniques help you focus on resolving your issues with the power of your own mind.

Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT)

Integral Eye Movement Therapy is a brief therapy that utilises the application of neurological principles in order to generate rapid change in the area of undesired neurological imprints (memories and feelings). The IEM therapy model answers the question " How did the client learn to feel this way, about that thing?", and applies specific change at the right neurological level.

I.E.M Therapy brings the client more into the present and enables the client to stay out of past negative experiences permanently.

I.E.M Therapy can help even the most resistant emotional problems to be resolved quickly. The method is especially useful in teenagers and clients who find it hard to articulate their emotional states and problems for which they are seeking help.

So for example, those who are 'stuck in the past' being held back by anger, sadness, fear, hurt and guilt, I.E.M Therapy can help to resolve the problems generating these negative emotions and probably in the shortest time. If there are identity, value and beliefs or self esteem issues such as, "I am no good," "I am clumsy", "I'm not loved", they can often be addressed rapidly through this process.

PSTEC Level 1

It’s a fast process, involving very little involvement from the therapist. Developed by Tim Phizackerley, a leading UK Hypnotherapist specializing in Bulimia. It's content free and the process is designed to neutralise any unwanted feeling of any kind in the most powerful, efficient and permanent way possible. It is intended to be used with any unwanted thought, memory or feeling to neutralise whatever negative effects it might have previously had for an individual. Or in other words, detach unwanted emotions from events/memories.
